The TheraGun is the ideal device for an athlete’s muscle treatment. In order to provide deep muscle treatment, most devices and therapies cause a great deal of pain, limiting their effectiveness and causing discomfort. The TheraGun’s AmpBIT uses a strong percussive force on the muscle that creates intense blood flow to help the muscle recover without the pain normally associated with deep muscle treatment. The TheraGun uses a unique combination of frequency and amplitude that inhibits the brain from sensing pain signals from the muscle, allowing deeper and longer muscle treatment. The increased muscular blood flow caused by the TheraGun produces numerous benefits for athletes, driving improved performance.
A lightweight, compact and mobile device, the TheraGun can be used anywhere without the need for an electrical outlet. Weighing less than 3 pounds, the TheraGun’s compact size and ease of use make it the ideal tool while on the field, at the gym or wherever an athlete’s sport may take them. It’s designed with a grip handle and easily exchangeable AmpBITs to put the power and control in the athlete's hands to aid in their own recovery. This allows them to control the location as well as the pressure of the treatment.
Before a workout or competition, athletes can use the TheraGun to quickly warm up their muscles, as well as address existing soreness, which helps athletes perform in optimal condition. The TheraGun also provides an efficient way to flush the lactic acid out of muscles post-workout. It improves blood flow through muscles and joints, minimizing lactic acid, resulting in reduced soreness and accelerating the recovery process.
Additionally, the TheraGun helps with old injuries where scar tissue buildup has caused a limited range of motion. The use of a TheraGun on scar tissue increases blood flow to that area, which helps to increase the range of motion, allowing the athlete a more complete and pain-free workout or performance.
Athletes can feel confident in their ability to heal their own aches and pains from daily exercise, even when a trainer is not available. With the TheraGun, the athlete is able to reach approximately 60% of their own body for treatment. With no cord, the TheraGun can be used anywhere, at any time.
Use the TheraGun G1:
- For as little as 2-5 minutes on the entire body or on a specific body part to warm up the muscles
- To reduce muscle knots with significantly less pain, and for longer treatment periods, than with other methods such as a foam roller
- On an area of the body that was worked on in previous days to eliminate soreness, allowing the athlete to train again, harder, and without post-workout pain
- During a workout or competition to treat cramps and knots, and flush lactic acid on the go
- To push out stored lactic acid by increasing blood flow in as little as 2-5 minutes
- To prevent injuries by increasing blood flow to the specific area that is being treated
Results: The TheraGun decreases post-workout muscle pain and cramps, which accelerates the body’s ability to heal and recover. Asymmetrical movements caused by muscles strains, sprains and joint misalignments can easily be addressed with the TheraGun.
“The TheraGun helps me loosen up before my workouts as part of my warm up routine. It also helps in relieving pain while I work out and after by getting out the lactic acid and tightness in my body.”
– James Anderson, a 10-year NFL Veteran
“Being an athlete competing on a high level and always being healthy is one of the most difficult equations to solve. Doing action films and repeating the same high intensity moves over and over is one thing, clean and perfect is another. If I didn't have Dr. Jason and his TheraGun during the making of my documentary Killer Legs, I probably wouldn't have set the new fastest kick record. I love the TheraGun and use it every day!”
– Alexander Wraith, Actor, Producer and Stunt Double
